My own great adventure in the County began in 1990, when my husband and I left the city for a 23-acre farm, complete with a brick Victorian farmhouse and hip-roof barn, both in need of repair. Restoring them has been a25-year labour of love and our farm is now home to horses, miniature donkeys, llamas, chickens, ducks and geese, not to mention our 2 Standard poodles.
I understand what makes Prince Edward County special. Surrounded by water, rich in agriculture, fine cuisine, arts and heritage, this the perfect place to be. I know the place well, its towns and roads, its waterfront and hidden gems.
I have also come to understand that real estate is not just our most significant investment, it’s also an emotional investment. Finding the perfect home or buyers takes patience, communication and 24/7 investment of time.
